Advent Day 9 – What can you Celebrate at Grimscote Manor?

Family is incredibly important to us here at Grimscote manor, we consider all our guests to be family and we love nothing more than when they allow us to become a part of theirs. Our journey with Annabel and Rhyan’s family began in 2014 when they got married.

Their wedding was a wonderful celebration starting at the Coleshill church where they proclaimed their love for one another, then they came to us for their reception which took place in our fabulous marquee. With five round tables spread around the marquee and a oblong top table. Each table had a white base table cloth with a pink and silver diamante table runner across the middle and one of the gorgeous cream candelabras placed in the centre, the breathtaking pink and white floral engagement on top these made the perfect statement piece for every table. Each place setting consisted of a hot pink charger which had each person’s menu placed on them, their cutlery placed alongside along with one of our beautiful napkin swans made from the bride’s choice of white and pink patterned napkins. The bride and groom then completed each place setting with their wedding favours which were in lovely pink boxes. The chairs surrounding each table all had a beautiful white satin cover, every other chair had a pink ribbon bow and the alternate chairs had a beautiful flower decoration. The whole wedding was a beautiful celebration and certainly not one to forget.

Our celebrations with Annabel and Rhyan were far from over as we then got the wonderful news that they were expecting their first child! We were more than thrilled when they decided to hold the baby shower here at Grimscote Manor, with Gill ensuring the decorations were to our lovely Annabel’s specifications. Both the table and chairs were decorated with white covers, we then had our beautiful gold leaf table runners down the centre with five beautiful white flower arrangements. However, the real show stopper was the beautiful oriental style paper umbrellas hanging from our skylight. The table was then finished with our fine bone china, each place setting having a side plate and cup and saucer as well as a champagne flute. Each had either a pink or blue patterned napkin inside, all ready for Annabel and her guests to enjoy one of Gill’s delicious afternoon teas.

We consider ourselves more than lucky to have celebrated not only a wedding but two baby showers with this wonderful family and we look forward to celebrating many more milestones with them in the future.
